Service Description

Beginners to Intermediate Wheel Throwing (Tuesday 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm with Hunter) This 6 week class is designed for both beginners and for those with experience. It runs for 2.5 hours on the same day and same time each week. Beginners can learn everything they need to know to throw simple forms such as bowls and cups, while those with more experience can challenge themselves and select new projects to work on: platters, teapots, bird feeders; the possibilities are endless. If you've never touched clay before in your life, just sign up for any of our Beginner & Intermediate classes and reconnect with the simple joy of building something with your own two hands. All you'll need to start is an apron ($17), and a trimming tool ($10). You can purchase these from us on your first day or in advance on our online store. All other tools are provided. Glazes are included, along with 9 lbs of clay. If you need additional clay, you must purchase it through the studio. No outside clay is allowed. Sign up for a weekday afternoon class for an even greater discount at 15% off regular price!
