These 6 week class are designed for both beginners and for those with experience. They run on the same day and same time each week.
We are allowing late registration for the 3 PM youth class and the 6 PM adult class. You will be reimbursed 1/6 the cost of the class after registering if registering late.

Wed Youth wheel 3-530pm (James 
(James Kemp, award winning international artists & registered BC Ed certificate holder, former Montessori, teacher, and high school teacher will be leading this fun and technical class. 
In this class you will learn how to throw juicers, bowls, plates. We will combine wheel with hand building slab techniques to make functional pieces as well as sculptural wall hanging animal faces. 
If you've never touched clay before in your life, just sign up and reconnect with the simple joy of building something with your own two hands.​
Beginners can learn everything they need to know to throw simple forms such as bowls and cups; while those with more experience can challenge themselves and select new projects to work on: platters, teapots, bird feeders; the possibilities are endless.
All you'll need to start is an apron $20 or a fancier apron up to $55 (we have 4 styles;  a trimming tool $12. You'll purchase these from us on your first day unless u already have them. All other tools are provided.
Glazes are included, along with 7Lbs of clay. No outside clay is allowed. Students are allowed to bring their own cone 6 commercial glazes, though they must consult with the teacher about particular brands and fire on clay cookies to ensure the safety of the Kiln.
