Hand Building class is  taught by Mapi, who has a background and figurative sculpture and functional ceramics. 
In this class you will learn the essentials of hand building various forms using pinching, coiling, and slab construction. Such as mugs vases, music whistles, pipes, sculptures. The possibilities are endless 
 
You will also learn a variety of decorative techniques such as coloured clay inlay and glazing.
 
Students can choose to learn either sculptural or functional forms in this intimate hands-on class.
Glazes are included, along with 7lbs of clay. If you need additional clay, you must purchase it through the studio. No outside clay is allowed.
